What happens when I place my order direct on your website?
We love receiving new orders! Claire Emma replies by email to every order we receive (please check your spam if you don't receive her email). When your order is received, our design assistant will search through our patterns to find your chosen size. They will then hand cut the item(s) and once cut, the materials will be put into a sample box and passed on to one of our highly talented seamstresses. Your order will then be sewn with meticulous care and attention to detail. Once complete, we carefully trim any excess threads and give the products a gentle steam. All pieces are quality checked by Claire Emma, then packaged in tissue with a luxury bow in a gift box. If you keep an eye on our Instagram stories, we like to share images of the items we make.
Why don’t you hold garments in stock?
As we have our very own studio, we are able react to your order as it arrives. Choosing to work this way means we have no deadstock garments, just beautiful fabrics and lace ready to make your orders. We think this makes it extra special for our customers, whilst working in a very sustainable way.
How long does it take to make my order?
We make all web orders within 5 working days. However, should you need your order sooner, please use our express and fast-tracked priority service.
Can I visit the Emma Harris atelier?
Yes, clients can visit the atelier. Clients mainly visit for fittings and bespoke orders. To arrange an appointment, please email sales@emma-harris.com
I'm unsure of my size, can you help?
Of course, please contact the design team by emailing sales@emma-harris.com we'll arrange a convenient time to telephone you to discuss your size and offer advice.
I'm not a standard size, can you help?
We absolutely can. Our bespoke service offers a multitude of amendments to cater specifically for you. Please reach out to the design team by emailing sales@emma-harris.com we'll take care of everything else.
I'm buying a gift, but unsure what size to buy?
We all have favourite items to wear. These tend to look good and fit well. Perhaps your partner has an item which is frequently worn, or referred to as a favourite? Are you stocked anywhere else?
Yes. We are very proud to be stocked by Jane's Vanity. Every year we have a design meeting with Jane and Emily from Jane's Vanity. New styles are selected and frequently adapted to create 'exclusive colourway to Jane's Vanity pieces'
Oh yes, we are a very busy studio! We are one of the few in the UK that can offer a full in-atelier service which covers patterns, samples and small run production. Our skill levels are extremely high and therefore our work is in high demand. In fact our skills are so high, that we regularly produce for other luxury brands.
